I was really nervous with the buying process of a new vehicle as it’s been a while. Yet Jed Blanco made me feel really comfortable and sure of my purchase. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Even the sales and finance manager worked with me to get a good deal and get the payments I wanted. Best place to buy a Mazda!!!!

Absolutely best car buying experience ever. Jordan, the sales manager, had my Mazda CX-5 all detailed and cleaned by the time I got there to test drive. Jed was my sales guy and super duper friendly and efficient. Carrie was my finance gal who hooked me up with a great rate, bumper to bumper 100k warranty for future peace of mind, and GAP coverage to protect my loan. Overall they were transparent, very speedy, gave me all the details I needed, and I was out the door with a BEAUTIFUL CPO Mazda CX-5, fully loaded in no time!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Ask for Jordan, Jed or Christian. They will take care of you 150%! Thanks lady and gentlemen!

Clears Check Engine Warning WITHOUT Fixing New Car

I purchased a brand new 2018 Mazda3 Touring 2.5L from Walkers Renton Mazda on Friday November 16, 2018 I had previously given a down payment on the vehicle I wanted (before it had arrived at the dealership) and was prepared to purchase the car if it met my expectations and examination in person. On this day, the car only had 4 miles on the odometer when I began my test drive, and just 10 miles on the odometer after completion of the test drive. The car seemed fine to me and I decided to complete the purchase. It took an unusually long time (note: more about this later) for Walker’s Renton Mazda to complete the sales transaction while I waited, but after about 2 hours, the car deal was complete. I drove the car from the dealer’s lot to my home (about 17 miles, with the odometer now at 27). It remained in my attached garage without further use until Sunday, November 18, 2018. On Sunday I was set to go on a short trip, 7 miles away. To my surprise, I noticed a check engine light on (engine system malfunction) and stayed on. I checked the gas cap, made sure it was tightened, looked under the hood, but not see anything amiss. I drove off carefully, not noting any driving or handling issues despite this check engine light that remained illuminated. I arrived at my destination, with the car having 34 miles on the odometer. After about 1 hour, I was ready to go back to my home and started the car for my journey back, but now 4 lights were constantly illuminated with the engine running. Looking up the symbols, there were actually a total of 5 warning guidance’s: the engine system malfunction, DSC malfunction, TPMS system malfunction, and 2 SCBS malfunction warnings. I turned the engine off and on, but all these lights just stayed on. I tried to see how the car would run and realized the engine was clearly not running properly, as it jerked violently, surged, hesitated and at times seemed poised to stall. This brand new car was unsafe for me to proceed on the road and I am just thankful I was able to quickly determine this and not have this occur on the highway whereby something truly catastrophic may have resulted. As it was a Sunday, I decided to leave the car where it was and to call Mazda to arrange a tow, as per their policy, to the nearest Mazda dealer. The car was towed to the nearest dealership, University Mazda in Seattle WA which is not the same dealership where I purchased the car (Walker’s Renton Mazda). They told me they would conduct diagnostic tests and not to expect it completed that day. University Mazda’s master technician had at first thought there was a problem with the PCM control unit but ultimately figured out that it was a faulty throttle body that was causing the problems. University Mazda finally completed the replacement of the throttle body on Thursday, November 29th, so I had to suffer the inconvenience of having my brand new car in the repair shop for 10 days. But to make matters much much worse, to my utter shock and dismay, the University Mazda service consultant and master technician indicated that the issues affecting this new car had been known previously by Walker’s Renton Mazda and that the error codes were previously cleared by the dealer and the car was not fixed. So prior to them completing the sale of this car to me (and most likely after my test drive while I was supposedly waiting for the paperwork to be completed) the check engine light(s) illuminated and stayed illuminated, and the decision by the sales people of Walker’s Renton Mazda was to order the error code cleared, to make their sale.

5/5 Serivce - 2017 Mazda 3

I walked into this dealership Sunday nervous about how things might go. Would I be able to get into a newer more efficient vehicle that fits both my work needs and personal? The answer was yes. It was thanks to the help of both Brandon Avery and Riley Miller. They both took the time to show me around while answering my questions and helping me feel more confident in this big step I was taking. I decided to go with a 2017 Mazda 3 it fit then needs and wants I was hoping to find. While being more comfortable as well. I want to thank the entire team at Walkers Renton Mazda for helping me take a big step forward. I would highly recommend stopping in and checking it put for yourself!!

Worked with a lot of good people here, but didn't go perfect

I was able to meet a few people at the dealership. I knew exactly what car I wanted and test drove it, it ran really well so we got to the table for negotiation. I'll give a summary of the people I worked with and what I thought - Rico - Rico is the one who drew me in and seemed like an incredibly likable guy. He worked with me a ton and got me set up with my test drive and made sure I got the car I wanted. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to make it the day I came back to purchase the car. Cage - Cage is a swell guy. He just recently started, but seems genuine, right now I think the dealership has him on watch for people coming on the lot and basically the guy who filters out the serious buyers. I really liked cage, wish I worked with him further in the negotiation. Cage could do better at giving directions, but a pleasure to work with. He got me at the negotiation table then they had someone with more experience take over, like a relief pitcher. Overall, 5/5 for Cage. Jed - Jed seemed okay. I knew I wasn't going to talk a used car down a ton, unfortunately they didn't budge at all. That's fine, I'm not going to knock Jed for that, that's not on him. Just to feel like I made a deal though, we agreed I'd get all weather mats, and a full tank of gas before heading back home. After we agreed and shook on it, Jed went out to try and find some mats, and sent the car for whatever detailing/washing they do while I wait for financing. Jed couldn't find the all weather mats, whatever, I know we agreed on it, but if they don't have them they don't have them, they're like $100 on amazon. As I drove off, I got half way home ( I know I should have looked sooner, but didn't unfortunately) and saw that I had no gas. This actually irked me, I understand not having mats, but the gas station is one block over, it may seem small, but we had a deal, we shook on it, signed papers. If a man can't commit to his word, I don't recommend dealing with him. I have never sold cars, but if someone came in, bought a 20k care from me, and they got a tank of gas in the deal, I would make sure, before sending them off, that that tank was 100% filled. All in all, a good experience for the most part, but that small thing left a bad taste in my mouth.

Bought a Certified Preowned Mazda from Cage Mattioda

We searched a huge are for a specific Mazda. We negotiated much of the deal from over 100 miles away. After I made the trip, the dealership stuck to their word. We got good money for our trade, a fair deal on the car, and we are happy with the purchase. Ask for Cage if you are in the market for a used car.

Approach the right dealer
