Horrible Experience with Financial Manager

My husband and I came into the Toyota Dealer ship yesterday. The Financial Manager Marcie, was very rude, disrespectful and condescending. She rolled her eyes and showed a clear sign of not being in the correct profession. Every salesmen was very nice and helpful. However, the attitude of the financial manger cost the salesmen and company a sale of a brand new car. We went with all the intentions of purchasing and signing, until we were treated horribly. I feel like this issue should be addressed before the company losses more profits in the future. If you are looking for a Toyota, my suggestion would be to look else where. Other then the Toyota dealership in Warrenton.

I would not recommend this dealer.

The way a dealership should be

First and foremost, I am a Toyota fan. Living in Northern Va I have many options on where to purchase and service my vehicle. I choose to use Warrenton Toyota because they a professional, respectful of my time and never let me down. In a world of craziness it is nice to have confidence in a car dealership. Warrenton Toyota has my confidence. Excellent sales team and Tony in service is first class!

Refused to sell a car

I wish I could give zero stars because they didn't even earn 1. I inquired about a rather rare used car and made an offer just $300 lower than their asking price, they said no, so I committed to paying 100% of their asking price. I offered my credit card information to hold the vehicle as I was an out of state customer. The salesman took my credit card info and said he would hold the car until I arrived which was to be 24 hours from our conversation. After no response during the day, I called and asked for the sales manager "Steve". He said "we will not hold a car for anyone". I said, I don't want you to hold it, I am buying it site unseen. They had my credit card info and all they needed to do was to charge the deposit and write a bill of sale. I changed all my plans for the week to drive down and pick up the car. Later in the day, Steve calls back and said they had someone else interested in the car and he was on his way into the dealership. So basically, they were "holding" it for someone else, but wouldn't hold it for me. Steve said he would call me back "either way" to inform me about the availability of the car. He did not even have the decency to call back. He said they wouldn't take my deposit because I could cancel the transaction up to 30 days after the charge. So this tells me 2 things, they don't trust their customers at Warrenton Toyota, or they sell junk used cars that cause people to reverse charges on their card. I told him I could pay cash for the car if needed, but still they refused to sell it to me. They have shown poor customer service, lies, and two completely different stories coming from sales people and managers. Don't waste your time with this dealer, they don't trust CUSTOMERS are exactly why negative stereotypes follow deceitful used car sales people like Warrenton Toyota. As a bonus, I told Steve I would be telling my story to the BBB. His response? "Then I diffidently won't sell you the car". Classy!!!

Excellent experience

From start to finish was excellent. Steve Cox, Angel and Marci were great! I worked as a comptroller for dealerships for over twenty years and I highly recommend Warrenton Toyota.

A good experience

Tricksters

Read your contract VERY carefully on all pages. I got scammed by the "SAFEKEY" program. They split up $895 into $695 on one page and $200 on another page. I was told this money will be credited to the bank but now I still have a higher payment. I'm sitting in a repair shop less than a week later. I wish I had never walked through their doors.

Took my 2010 Toyota Prius in for service on Wednesday

I have a 2010 Prius and I go to Warrenton Toyota for oil changes, tires, maintenance, etc... Hands down the best customer care! If your service will take longer than the free coffee, free wifi, free TV, then they will give you a loaner for the time of service. My "loaner" was a decked out 2016 Toyota Prius - heck on wheels? OMG yes!!! Mark and the service team took great care of me, were able to troubleshoot a rear driver's side wheel bearing gone bad- and they repaired it on My schedule. When it came time for a new vehicle, Jean in sales was a godsend. I am very picky about exterior/interior color. I walked in to my appointment with Jean and he had a stack of matches on his desk for what I wanted (Warrenton didn't have the one I wanted on their lot) I didn't mention my interior color preference (again, picky!) So when he found the perfect match several cities away, he drove there as soon as his shift was over because they were the only match and he wanted to make sure that I had first dibs on it! Marcie in finance was incredible to work with as well and she gave me options that I didn't know even existed. They are an amazing team from front desk to service to sales to finance and I will be using them for all of my future purchases!!!

Very helpful service department

Kevin Griffith was wonderful when we pulled in on Saturday with smoke coming out from under our Lexus. He found the source of the problem(grass & debris caught near the exhaust) and offered to clean out what he could with a pressure washer. relieved of our worry, we made an appointment for some routine 60k maintenance. He found that there was an open recall on our car that he recommended we get taken care of at the Lexus dealer. A helpful young man that is a joy to work with!

Friendly - Patient - Knowledgeable

Buying a new car can be a daunting task, but Warrenton Toyota made the car buying experience enjoyable. The staff at Warrenton Toyota is friendly, patient and knowledgeable - simply great people to work with. The Service department is stellar as well - we've been servicing our vehicles (2008 4Runner and our trade-in 2000 Acura TL) there since Warrenton Toyota opened.

Amazing care... Again

Such an easy process to schedule my appointment on my phone app, walk in, drop off and the guys are always ready and willing to accommodate in any way possible. Great crew; on time, polite and knowledgeable.... Not to mention so nice to not be lost in the crowd of other customers! Small town personalized feel, with city selection-- yet none of the big city shenanigans or games. So much happier here than I was at the NoVa Toyota I have been going to. Kudos to this whole team... They've been a pleasure to work with on every occasion I have been there.

Dishonest Dealership

After negotiating a price on a car, drove all the way out there to get car to be told car had just been sold. Had been texting with the salesperson, Angel, during the day. Texted that we we were on our way. When we got there, he said he had called us earlier to tell us about car which was a complete lie (no record of any phone call or text). I would not trust this dealership.

I sent an email on a Sunday inquiring about one of their vehicles and it was answered by 9:00 am on Monday. I also called at 7:57 am on Monday morning and they answered the phone before opening at 8:00 am. That impressed me because that usually doesn't happen anywhere. Everyone was friendly and ready to help.
