Amazing Staff!

Wellesley Mazda made my car shopping experience so easy! Carlos was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered my many many questions! After test driving a Mazda 3, I decided I was interested in looking at the CX 5. All I had to do was sent a quick text message to schedule a follow up appointment with Carlos. He was very flexible, and let me sign for the paperwork to take the car I really wanted off the market, and let me pay about a week later (I took the car home after I paid). He was understanding and timely with communication. Alex helped me with signing all of the paperwork. She was patient and also answered my many questions! She did an excellent job explaining everything to me so I was comfortable and understood all the documents. I can tell they really care about their clients! Highly recommend.

More than just a sale...

We went to Wellesley Mazda on a Friday and looked at a new Mazda CX-5 and fell in love with it. We needed a day to digest the finance piece and planned to return the next day. Suddenly our 8 month old daughter became very ill and eventually was admitted to Children's Hospital twice from Saturday to Sunday and Sunday to Monday. Throughout our stay, Alvin Rojas, our sales rep, kept calling me to check in on how our daughter was doing. His concerns were very genuine and he showed the compassion we needed at that time. Once we were able to be discharged, we made an appointment to go back and review the car and finance plan. We were welcomed by all, especially Alvin. This made our purchase much easier rather than stressful. Thanks to Alvin and his team for making us feel welcomed and appreciated.

Mike Winterson truly represents Wellesley Mazda's excellence. I am now driving a 2019 CX-5 Grand Touring and I love it. It is everything Mike promised it would be. I was very comfortable negotiating with Mike and the sales manager. The delivery of the vehicle was exceptional as were each of the employees that assisted me. Wonderful First Experience

I just bought my first car and the staff at Wellesley Mazda made it extremely easy. They made the process much less intimidating than I expected it to be. Michaela Mulry was very helpful throughout the whole process and ensured that none of my questions went unanswered. She kept me up to date with the registration of my vehicle so I always knew what was happening rather than being caught of guard. Krystal Miller was also excellent to work with and made me feel confident in the protections I purchased. Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend it to others

Purchasing or leasing a new vehicle can be a very stressful process but Michaela Mulry at Wellesley Mazda made the experience easy and enjoyable. Michaela is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She listened to my needs and helped me chose the perfect vehicle. I felt comfortable asking her questions and trusted she was always giving me a truthful, honest answer. Krystal Miller was a familiar face from my previous car lease and greeted me with a warm welcome back. She was excellent helping me finalize my new lease. Painless buying experience

We worked with Carlos Pereira and from the very outset he was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel like we were being listened to and taken care of us. We got a great deal on a car with no pressure from either Carlos or the business manager Krystal, meaning we left feeling happy and not like we'd been scammed. We live a bit far away and he worked with us to ensure that we only had to come to the dealership for our test drive and then our purchase, very convenient for us. He even came in on a sick day to make sure we could pick up our car on the day we needed it because he knew we'd had to return the rental we'd gotten after a car accident. Other people at the dealership, including Sophie and Rodrigo, were very friendly and helpful on the phone when we called with questions. Overall we can't recommend Wellesley Mazda and Carlos in particular enough, they were awesome.

I feel ripped off

I feel ripped off because I had service at Wellesley Mazda today. There was recall on my Mazda 6 rear brakes. The e brake stopped working because of whatever the defect was. I needed rear brake pads and rotors anyway. But since they had to remove the calipers which is most of the labor I can tell you (since I do my own brakes sometimes). Why did they charge me 489.95. Shouldn't the recall have covered the cost of most of the labor? Why did I get charged so much? It didn't hit me until I got home. It was long wait at the dealership and I just wanted to go.

I had called Wellesley Mazda inquiring about some used cars to see if they were still on the lot. Michaela was the first person to answer and help me out. I expressed that I would need some time and she was very empathetic about my situation. A couple days later she called back asking if there was anything else I was wondering about I could call and she would find out for me. I appreciated that she was not trying to sell me a car that I did want to buy but instead was helping me come to a decision about what I wanted and would do her best to help me find that. I had then scheduled a meeting to test drive and meet Michaela in person. The driving experience was fantastic and every question I had was answered with confidence. I think that there was a great balance of information that was being given to me and I was not being sold on small gimmicks. After the drive, we sat back down to talk about models and when I expressed that I was not interested in the original models I looked at Michaela asked me what I wanted in a car so that she could help narrow some options for me. Once we had the exact car in mind we moved to negotiations. I will not go into the exact process here since I think that will put certain expectations in people's minds and it's different with every person. However I will say that Michaela and Rodrigo treated my very well and with respect. I was confident that this was going to be the best offer in the area as it was a very competitive price even for my own expectations. However I wanted to check other dealers in the area just to make sure I investigated all of my options. I had chatted with other dealers and my confidence was well placed. No one was able to match the offer that Michaela and Rodrigo were able to give me. So I came back to the Wellesley Mazda saying that I would take the offer. After that, the transaction process was very quick and even when I thought about leasing at the last moment Michaela was very agile and hospitable in getting me new quotes. Once the deal was made I waited only a couple of days for the vehicle to be prepared. I presented my final check and I was shown my new car. During the whole process I was treated very well. The overview of features and the answering of any questions I had was helpful and thorough. Whereas in other dealerships I felt that I was rushed to purchase a vehicle and that I was merely being used. However that was not the experience with Michaela as she made sure that the send off experience was warm and I felt that I had truly made a friend that day. Another experience I'd like to highlight is when I came back to the dealership after a couple days. I had ran over a twig on the side of the highway. This caused some damage to the wheel well. I contacted Michaela first since she assured me that she would always be there if I needed anything. She put me in contact with the service department and when I came in that day she was there to greet me. We chatted and caught up which only supplements the fact that she truly cares about the clients who come through this dealership and wants to maintain a good relationship. The service department was very knowledgeable and fixed it for free on the spot. This just goes to show how friendly the entire dealership actually is. In conclusion Michaela is an all around fantastic person to interact with who will put you at ease with your shopping experience. However this does not mean taking advantage of her hospitality. If you treat her with respect she will give that to you in greater quantities, if not equal. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know looking to buy a Mazda in the future.

We had a great experience with Michaela Mulry at Wellesley Mazda purchasing a used Toyota. She was professional, helpful and knowledgeable and did not pressure us in any way during the entire process. Communication was great after the sale and dealing with a few minor problems with the car which the service department took care of each time with no hassles. The overall experience was far better than we've had at any other dealer and we highly recommend them!

Rude and Disrespectful

Did not have a good experience working with Wellesley Mazda. Very rude and down right unprofessional. As a buyer, you are spending $30k+ on a vehicle and are looking for the best deal you can afford. I called both Liberty and Wellesley Mazda for a quote on the CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve. Below is a great example of good and bad customer service: On receipt of the quote for a lease/finance of a Grand Touring Reserve: Me: Your lease quote is as high as an Acura RDX A-Spec, and the price difference between the two cars is ~10K, is there room for negotiation? Wellesley/Liberty: What price are you looking for? On me providing the price range am looking to pay: Wellesley Mazda: We are not giving away the car for free!! This is a new model and we cant meet your price. Do not try to call multiple places up cause we do not negotiate that way. At this junction mind you, I did not even once compare prices between Mazda dealership, I only stated that an Acura RDX lease quote was $460 for 15k miles, and they were quoting me $450 for 10K miles. Liberty Mazda (Kristen): Mr. Shah, since the Grand Touring Reserve is a new model, we do not have a lot of discounts on it. However if you are interested we can go to a Grand Touring and see if we reach a deal! She was respectful and not rude. Kudos to the Management at Liberty Mutual. I have recommended them to my friends, definitely don't go to the snobbish Wellesley Mazda. Wellesley Mazda, remember buyers are looking at options and yes one sale wont change your bottom line, but one bad review will. Hope you learn your lesson and dont look down upon customers who are calling in.
