they try to convince you to put a non refundable deposit

westside Mitsubishi sales is the typical buyer beware they will convince you to put a non refundable deposit on a vehicle even in the viewing process. p.s. watch out for hail damage vehicles being sold as new

I came here to get my transmission fixed, they took 4000 of my hard earned dollars and didnt put my skid plate and wheel well plastic back on, then when I got my car back an engine light came on and my awc is flashing and they are saying I need a new pump when it broke in their hands and they won't do anything. Don't come here unless you like paying money, I will be doing my own work from now on.

I would not recommend this dealer.

General Manager kept ignoring my calls

I purchased a used Volkswagen car from this dealership back in October, the sales representative I had was great all around. Sotheby’s day I pick up my car I get 20 minutes out of the city and my rear view mirror falls off my windshield, so after speaking with the GM of the dealership I go to the local glass who was unable to re-attach my mirror due to the sensor in the back of it. I was told that my car had two features that have sensors in the back of my mirror when I bought it well neither of those features had work since I got my car. So after phoning the GM who didn’t answer, the receptionist tells me that he told her he’s been trying to phone me but I’m not answering (I never got any phone calls from him) so when I question that I’m told well my mail box was full so he couldn’t leave a voicemail which was also weird since I had no voicemails (how is my mailbox full if there’s nothing in it?) so after multiple weeks of trying to get a hold of the GM. Finally I get ahold of him at this point it’s been 3 weeks since my mirror fell off (3 weeks that I’ve had no mirror) so I’m not very ecstatic, after being annoyed on the phone he sets up an appointment to get my sensors in my mirror looked at free of charge so 2 1/2 hour drive to the city and they re-reattach my mirror. When I pick up my car I had asked what the problem was with my sensor and the service representative had no idea they were supposed to look at my sensors, and I’m told that I have to make another appointment. So again after speaking with the GM we agree that they are just going to replace the windshield because after I researched I found that once these sensors are taken off the windshield they don’t always work again. So now my second 2 & 1/2 hour trip to the city and I get a new windshield and once again they didn’t know they were supposed to look at the sensors but now 1 senor works and 1 doesn’t, so this time I say I want my car to go to an actual Volkswagen dealership so the GM agrees to send it to a Volkswagen dealership so I make the appointment take it in (now my third trip to the city) the Volkswagen dealership tells my I need new sensors which is an entire new mirror. So the Volkswagen dealership orders the part and I make another appointment to get the new mirror put in, so once the mirror was in I went back to the city (trip #4) they install the mirror and still 1 sensor work and 1 sensor doesn’t. So the Volkswagen dealership phones me and asked why I think my car has this sensor that isn’t working, so I explained well I was told it had both sensors when I bought it and I’ve had it into the Mitsubishi dealership where I bought it but they can’t fix it. The machanic at Volkswagen continues to tell me that my car only has the one sensor that the dealership lied about the second sensor. So I sent 10 hours worth of fuel on four different trips to the city and had the GM conveniently never be around when I’d phone even when the receptionist said he’d be in. Just simply based on my experience with the General Manager avoiding my calls I’d never purchase from this dealership again. Just to clarify tho the only staff I was not happy with was the General Manager all the service representatives and the sales representative were great.

Worst place to purchase a car.

Read everything over with critical detail, twice! Specifically ask they point out changes made to disclosures you've already signed. They tell people anything to sell them a car and pull some questionable back-handed credit manipulation (changing income amounts and sources without disclosure) to get people approved and lock them into contracts and out of deposit returns.

Overcoming my budget making it possible

I had come in from getting a suggestion from a friend to come in I wasn’t planing on getting my eclipse cross. But after the amazing treatment from Liron and the manager as well as the finance department I was blown away feeling as if I could met life long friends. I had a misunderstanding when making the deal and they where quick to come up with a solution for problem almost immediately making me feel like I was not being taken advantage of. Once I had the deal done Liron went out of his way coming in after hours to help me out with many additional things they didn’t need to do. Liron was one of the best sales reps I have ever been with and will for sure be recommending everyone I know to them.

excellent service and prompt delivery, dealer was able to provide with immediate answers, James Grouse was awesome to talk and deal with. James was honest and straight forward with me. As a First Nations we are always lead to believe that we're guaranteed the vehicle we want then we come in and there's always obstacles preventing us from getting what we want. This isn't the case with James Grouse Subprime Finance Director, he spoke with us we told him our must haves and 24 hrs. later he came through and WE ARE THE PROUD OWNERS OF 2017 RAM 1500. Thanks James and Westside Mitsubishi you made us believers again...Highly recommend James and Westside.

Taking advantage of unsuspecting people

I own a 2009 Mitusbishi Lancer which was purchased at West Side Mitusbishi by my daughter new. I subsequently purchased the car from her in 2015. Last October I took the car to Mitsubishi to have the sensors reset on the TPMS as it appears only Mitsubishi has the equipment to reset them properly. When the work was completed and I was paying my bill, the service personnel told me that I had 7 light and signal bulbs out on the car that should be replaced and would I like to have that done at the same time. Each bulb was quoted at $5 or less and the total estimated cost was $195.50. I said no I didn't want the work done then and left the dealership. As I suspected, all of the lights/signals were working fine with the exception of the license plate bulb which I was already aware of. Despite this, I decided to give the dealership one more chance. I booked an appointment for this morning for 7:45 am to only have my winter/summer tires switched, rotated, and sensors reset. I was the first person there this morning (arrived early at 7:20 am). When I arrived, I also mentioned to the service personnel about the light bulb "misunderstanding" back in October. He just shrugged his shoulders. Despite booking and arriving early (as I explained to them when booking; to avoid missing work) for a relatively simple appointment, my car was not ready to go until 9:45am, I received no explanation or apology and I was an hour late for work. I am finished with West Side Mitsubishi. I know that some have received good service there but I certainly haven't. The treatment I have received from this dealership is unconscionable. Very disappointing that they take advantage of customers just because the think they can. I will not go back again and I would encourage others, especially women, to be careful.

Extremely disappointed

I went here my my 48000 service and unfortunately I won’t be returning they did the service which included a tire rotation and a oil change which cost me over 380 dollars then they told me I would need a transmission service as to which I declined as that was going to cost me over 300 dollars, can’t remember the exact amount but I believe it was somewhere between 320-350. Now if I had of went to any other Mitsubishi dealership for that service, the transmission would have been done and most places are charging around 600 for the full service and include the transmission which yes is expensive but works out a xxxx of a lot cheaper than what westside are charging. Now the icing on the cake for me was being hassled by a salesman about selling my car and how he had someone looking to buy the exact same car, he said he could offer me more than what I paid and had the cheek to ask what I paid and what my payments are, but of course I would have to make a decision my the end of the day. I didn’t come here to sell my car I came to get it serviced don’t hassle people that are just waiting.
