Battery Replacment

White-Allen Honda Service was very responsive to my a situation in which my 2018 CRV would not start due to a battery issue. Roadside Assistance informed me that the vehicle's battery had a defective cell. After my vehicle was jump-started I called White-Allen and relayed the issue. They were supportive in that they allowed me to "walk-in" without an appointment. I brought my vehicle in within 10 minutes of my calling them. Within 40 minutes they completed a load test on the battery and determined that a cell was indeed defective. They then replaced the battery and had the vehicle back to me in about 1 hour. I appreciate the short-notice support and resolution of the issue.

Thumbs Up To White Allen Honda

I have experienced working with Dan Nagel at White Allen Honda on two separate occasions. The first time I talked with Dan I took notes about things I could expect when I traded in an auto for a new Odyssey a year and a month ago. Dan was faithful to his word. Everything turned out exactly the way it was supposed to and the transaction was handled in a timely fashion. This year I called Dan to find out if White Allen Honda would be interested in purchasing an auto from me. Dan answered all my questions. I took notes again. Everything Dan told me would happen worked out exactly like he said it would. The transaction was simple and I didn't have to spend a long time waiting for anything to be completed. It's grand to give a good report. Thumbs up to White Allen Honda.... Notes about DealerRater asking reason for visits. I have two visits to record. In 2018 I traded in an auto for a new car. In 2019 I sold a car to White Allen Honda.

I was recently serviced for an oil change. My previous service experiences were also excellent...obtaining my spare key by the sales manager and re-keying by the service department. I also want to thank Mr. Morrow, my salesman, for helping me select my vehicle. I'm just trying to keep my 18 year old daughter out of my car...she also loves it.

Honda Accord Touring

This one year service was done very quickly and efficiently. Waiting room is very comfortable. The only thing I would have appreciated was a verbal rundown of the work that was done and the status of the main systems on the car.

My 2009 Honda Civic would not start after a quick "P-Break" half way back to Dayton driving from Milwaukee. After a rest, it started. Arriving home in Dayton, I called White-Allen Honda. ( I was afraid to turn-off the car). White-Allen: "One moment , sir." Music. Wait. Back to someone. "Would you like to schedule an appointment?" No, can I talk to Jared? Bill? Dale? "One moment, sir." Wait. Music.. Hold. More music. Again; "Oh sorry, can I schedule an appointment for you?" No thank you. I hung up. I drove directly to White-Allen. Jared waved me in. I explained. Jared had another mechanic do a full-load test on the battery right then. Read out: "Replace." I filled out the paper work. I waited about 15 minutes in your waiting room. I was called. Job done. $165.00. I paid & came home. Total time: under 30 minutes. White-Allen made a sale because of the mechanics. I explained to Dale that I called once before about a quick question (several months ago). I was transferred to a "manager" (a woman's voice) who would NOT let me talk to a mechanic. I was ready to find another Honda dealer to do my work. Yesterday's experience has changed my mind. You have terrific mechanics there. They know me, I know them. I DON'T know the managers. In my opinion, If a customer wishes, let them talk to a mechanic.

Liars

Repeatedly did not get back to me after taking my social security number and personal information. When I finally got to talk to someone I realized that they had taken my personal information after the truck was already sold (apparently). Also advertises vehicles online that are already sold (or are they) Very poor service and sketchy people.( Had a friend call about the truck a day after this review and I am adding now that a man named Hugh told me the truck was sold and it did not actually sell until the following weekend. Very dissatisfied

Do Not Buy From White Allen

I came to White Allen at the end of January because I needed a car, bought a 2007 Civic Hybrid with 160,000 miles on it. Drove it 30 miles off the lot and the check engine light came on, when I brought it back they told me I had a dead hybrid battery and that it was going to cost more than the car to replace it. (Not sure how that one slipped past there certification/inspection process) They offered to replace it with a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze with 100,000 miles on it that had battery issues again right after I drove it off the lot but it was winter, so I thought nothing of it. Drove the thing for all of three months with no accidents or issues and it started overheating. Had an ASE certified mechanic replace the Thermostat, Water Outlet, Radiator Sensor, still overheating. I came to find out there was almost a class action lawsuit on that year Chevy Cruze because of these issues that White Allen should have been aware of (Same with the original Civic) they never mentioned. I tried taking it to their service center for a diagnostic, but they said they wouldn't touch it for less than 110$. After all the trouble I've had with this business and now being stuck with a car I haven't even owned for half a year, that was made in the last decade, that overheats and they aren't even willing to look at it? Used car or new car I can't recommend that anyone do business with White Allen. Shady, rude, pushy, and downright dishonest barely covers my opinion of this dealership.
