A literal joke

Where do I even begin. Recently purchased a car from them. I knew what I wanted, but they were not willing to budge for me and make my payment what I wanted. Finally when we get them down to the price it should be, they bring out the buyer guide and tell me to sign without even telling me what I'm signing. I asked, what is this? And they said the buyers guide. I said, I don't even know what my payments are going to be, you have only given me a "ball park", I have nothing for certain. He then took the sales paper away, and took me to my next "favorite" person, Paul. I have never met someone in my life who was just so full of himself and so “salesman” like until I shook hands with this animal. He has got to be the biggest joke you have in there.. He was so beyond rude, made my experience in buying the car the worst. Repeatedly attacked my friend for being the "brains in the operation", and attacking him about "3rd party warranties". He had no idea what I was Even purchasing.. I told him several times I wasn't purchasing yet, that I haven't even signed anything except the credit check papers. And he scoffed and said "well, you're pretty committed at this point". I should've just walked at that point, because the feeling I had in my stomach was definitely telling me too. He ended up waving the CPO fee, and after that was done, he told me to “get out" of his office. Unprofessional. He treated me terribly, and he said that the finance number we talked about was set in stone before I even went into the financing office. They were busy that day, but the amount of smoke breaks I saw them take was sickening, and it was frustrating since at that point, I was at the dealership for 4 hours. We finally got into see Chris Dranka, and he was literally the best staff they have. He was straight to the point, personable, and he wanted to be sure that we had the best possible experience. Without him at the end, I probably would have walked. Paul decided to put my name wrong on every single piece of paperwork, and didn't notice it until we were all done and Chris had me sign, so that was an added 45 minutes to my already 5 hour ordeal. When it was all done, I was supposed to get 2 keys, only received one. They took a while to find my 2nd key; because they said “they lost it”. It's truly comical to me as to what kind of circus they run around there. When my family purchased their last vehicle from there, it was NOTHING like this, and it was just as busy as it was when I purchased that day. I don't know if it was because I was young, but I felt attacked and taken advantage of. Yes, I purchased a vehicle from there, but I will NEVER be back. They are a far cry from what a Nissan dealership should be, and I went to that one because of the awesome experience my parents had there beforehand. Don’t go there if you can help it, you’ll be disappointed.

Better than expected

I went into the dealership looking for a used car, but the innovative team at Woodfield Nissan came up with some very great options for a new car. My sales consultant Michal was amazing, even during the moments that I was not fully committed to buying a car. He kept me informed throughout the process, and created a pressure-free zone for me to make my decisions. Overall, everyone was great. So much so, that I have already referred 2 people to go there. Great job guys....

Best Dealership I've Ever Been To!

I’m a difficult customer. They were easy to work with.

I am very rigid in my approach to car shopping. I test drive, identify the vehicle I want, email every dealer in a 4 hour radius requesting a quote, keep a spreadsheet of every quote I’ve been offered, and spend a month encouraging all these salespeople to undercut each other. On the last day of the month I buy from the person offering the lowest price. This system places me in an adversarial relationship with every salesperson. It’s stressful for them and for me, but the result is I get cars for thousands less than the initial asking price. Lori Smith was patient and kind with me as I moved through this process. She wasn’t, in the end, able to go low enough to win my business, but she came close (she was in the final three). And her engagement with me was always warm and authentic. I’ll always buy from the dealer offering me the lowest quote, even if they are a total jerk. But if Lori tied with someone and they were the same distance from my house i’d gove her the sale ten times out of ten.

Mixed Bag

I purchased a new 2016 vehicle and had a very good experience through the sales process. It was efficient and easy. The first time I needed some perspective on service has been a different story. My vehicle is having an issue with window tinting and it seems no one can help. Service has pointed me to sales, sales pointed after market sales, to used car management, to internet sales, to the General Manager. Bottom line, I have a rear window with window tinting bubbling on a car covered my warranty and I have gotten no where. Frustrating for sure...

Woodfield Nissan was the BEST car buying experience ever! In and out within 2 hours. Our salesman new the car inside and out. The financing and managers were SO friendly and helpful! Fast and Efficient

I love the service department at this dealership. I bought my first Nissan 4 years ago and have been taking my car to Woodfield Nissan for my service ever since. Every employee I have dealt with has been knowledgeable and courteous. Appointments are always on time and my service is completed quickly. Jose Rodriguez has always been extremely professional and courteous. I am unfamiliar with the workings of my vehicle and Jose has answered all of my questions thoroughly and with patience.

This is our third vehicle from Woodfield Nissan and each experience had been nothing short of great. Dan and his crew have always treated us with courtesy and respect. And the prices on the vehicles have been competitive with other car dealers in the area. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car.

FRAUD

THIS DEALERSHIP IS FULL OF LIARS AND CROOKS. THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD IN THEIR USED SALES CAR DEPARTMENT. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO LISA MADIGAN THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF ILLINOIS AND MY FREIND NEWS REPORTER ZORAIDA SAMBOLIN TO DO A STORY ON THEM. I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE FROM SALES PEOPLES OF MY LIFE HERE. I HAD DONE TWO PRIOR DEALS WITH THIS NISSAN DEALERSHIP. THIS NISSAN DEALERSHIP IS OWNED BY THE SAME PERSON AS GLENDALE NISSAN. I DID A BUY AT GLENDALE NISSAN AND AND HAD NO ISSUES WITH THE SERVICE AT GLENDALE. WHEN I WENT TO TRADE THAT IN FOR A LEASE AT HOFFMAN I WAS LIED TO ABOUT THE TERMS OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT THAT I INQUIRED ABOUT ONLY TO FIND OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LEASE THAT I WAS LIED TO. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TO FIRST WARNING SIGN OF SHADY SALESMAN BUSINESS PRACTICES. THE ISSUE I AM NOW SPEAKING OF IS MY LATEST BUY OF A TRUCK. WHEN I PURCHASED THE TRUCK MY SALESMAN WAS NADER. I ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY ISSUES WITH THE TRUCK AT ALL. HE SAID NO AND THAT AS A MATTER OF FACT THEY PUT A COUPLE GRAND INTO THE TRUCK TO FIX IT UP. 2 WEEKS AFTER I GET THE TRUCK THE WHEEL FROZE UP AND WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE UNTIL YOU MOVED IT AROUND AGGRESSIVELY. EVERY TIME I TRIED TO TURN IT YOU COULD FEEL AND HEAR A GRINDING NOISE, ALSO AT 60 MPH THE WHEEL WOULD SHAKE AGGRESSIVELY. I TOOK THE CAR TO GET LOOKED AT BY NISSAN AND TWO OTHER MECHANICS. THE WHOLE POWER STEERING WAS SHOT IT NEEDED ALL NEW PUMPS AND HOSES AND WAS LEAKING. I WENT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND ASKED THEM TO FIX THIS BECAUSE THEY LIED AND MISREPRESENTED THE VEHICLE. IT TOOK ME 3 DAYS OF GETTING THE RUN AROUND FROM SALES ASSOCIATES AND MANAGERS OF ALL KINDS. THEY WOULD LIE AND GIVE ME FAKE NAMES OVER THE PHONE TO AVOID RESPONSIBILITY. EVENTUALLY THE USED CAR SALESMAN LARRY LAINO FINALLY TALKED TO ME AND SAID HE WOULD HAVE HIS MECHANIC LOOK AT IT. I SAID YOUR MECHANIC? DOESN’T ALL THE MECHANICS HERE WORK FOR NISSAN? HE REPLIED NO I HAVE MY OWN WHO WORKS IN THE BACK THE OTHERS WILL TRY TO SELL YOU STUFF YOU DON’T NEED THEIR ON COMMISSION. ALBEIT I HAD ALREADY HAD THE MECHANICS AT THIS NISSAN DEALERSHIP LOOK AT IT AND GIVE ME A QUOTE ON THE WORK AND ALSO HAD TWO OTHER MECHANICS LOOK AT IT BEFORE I EVEN BROUGHT IT HERE AS STATED EARLIER AND ALL 3 OF THEM CAME TO THE SAME DIAGNOSIS. 2 MORE DAYS PASS. I DON’T HEAR ANYTHING FROM ANYONE SO I TELL THE MECHANICS TO DO THE WORK ON IT AND I WILL WORK IT OUT LATER BECAUSE I NEED A CAR ASAP. THEY SAY OK AND THAT THE THE PARTS WILL BE IN LATER THAT DAY AND IT WILL BE DONE TOMORROW. I SHOW UP THE NEXT DAY AND ITS NOT DONE AND THE PARTS DIDN’T EVEN ARRIVED. NO CALL FROM MY SERVICE REP OR ANYONE. IT WAS EARLY IN THE AM SO NO ONE WAS THEIR SO I SHOW UP LATER. I CALL LARRY BEFORE TO SAY IM COMING IN TO TALK. I SHOW UP AND THE ASSISTANT MANGER SAID HE LEFT 10 MINUTES PRIOR. THE NEXT DAY WHEN IM ABLE TO GET A HOLD OF HIM HE SAYS HIS MECHANIC SAYS THEIR IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. SO I SAY I HAVE HAD 3 MECHANICS LOOK AT IT INCLUDING THIS DEALERSHIPS AND THEY ALL CAME TO THE SAME CONCLUSION AND THE CAR IS ALSO UNDRIVABLE AND DANGEROUS. HE ASKS ME TO GO BACK AND TALK TO “HIS” MECHANIC. I GO BACK THERE AND SAY LARRY SAID THAT YOU SAID NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE CAR. HE ALREADY HAS A CONFRONTATIONAL TONE, LOOK AND APPEAL. HE THEN SAYS NO THAT’S NOT WHAT I SAID AND GOES ON TO SAY IT NEEDS EXACTLY WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAID IT NEEDED. HE THAN AGGRESSIVELY SAYS THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS AND WHERE NOT FIXING IT FOR FREE. I SAID I DIDN’T ASK YOU THAT, THAT’S NOT YOUR ISSUE OR CALL TO WORK OUT YOU ANSWERED MY QUESTION NOW GO BACK AND DO YOUR JOB. THAT ANGERED HIM AND HE AND HIS MECHANICS SURROUND ME AND HE SAYS YOU CANT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT. I LOOKED AT THAT AS A THREAT AND STEPPED IN HIS FACE AND ASKED WHAT HE WOULD DO ABOUT IT. HE THEN RUNS OFF TO LARRY TO SAY I THREATENED HIM AND TO THROW ME OUT. I FOLLOW HIM AND SAY I APOLOGIZE YOU TOOK IT THAT WAY BUT YOU THREATENED ME AND IM VERY UPSET BECAUSE YOU GUYS SOLD ME A CAR THAT NOT EVEN 2 WEEKS LATER IS UNDRIVABLE. THE FIX ONLY COST 525 LARRY ASK IF HE COULD SPLIT THE COST I AGREE TO THAT DEAL AND THOUGHT IT WAS OVER WITH AND THE PARTS WOULD BE ORDERED AND MY CAR WOULD BE FIXED. IT WAS 3 DAYS LATER AND I HAVE TO CALL THE DEALER BACK AND ASK WHATS GOING ON. THEY SAY BAD NEWS THE PARTS NOT IN AND WE DON’T HAVE A MECHANIC THAT IS QUALIFIED TO FIX THIS. I SAY IM COMING IN TO GET THE CAR. WHEN I ARRIVED TO PICK IT UP I TALK TO A SERVICE MEMBER AND ASK IF THAT WAS BS HE LAUGHS AT ME AND IMPLIES IT WAS. I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO DO BUSINESS HERE EITHER.

The service is a disappointment/ stay away

I have always went there for my maintenance due to I brought my car from them. I have spoke highly of this place because they have done great work in the past. Lately, they have provided horrible service. I recently came for an oil change, they did not top off my fluids, forgot to put the cap back on my tires, inside of my car- dirt all on my seats. Yet they tell me I needed brakes and other stuff done, but never mention about I need new windshield wipers. I knew I need some new ones very bad, but they said it was fine. I wish I can show pictures. This place have lost my trust, and the sad part is I really love Nissan.

STAY AWAY.

Stay AWAY they supposedly “fix” my AC compressor and 8 months later my AC stop working. I’ve never have an AC line issue until they touch my car. I questioned the “worked” they’ve done in my car.

Disrespectful and unprofessional service

HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP. Bought a car here 2 weeks ago. To start off my experience I was harassed by Jeff, the salesman before i even stepped out of my car in the parking lot! I was in the middle of a conversation while getting out of the car and was very rudely interrupted literally before even closing my car door. I knew exactly what car I wanted so hoped it would be a quick and easy experience and it was far from that. Jeff knew nothing about the nissan rogue, I found it hilarious when he said after my test drive he owns a rogue himself and fills up the gas tank for $25. He was such a horrible lier it was ridiculous. After deciding to go through with the purchase we waited for hours to get the paperwork. I understand that takes a long time, but they would constantly say "5 more minutes", I would have much more appreciated some honesty than more lies. hours later we hear Jeff's name being called several times over the intercom because our paperwork was finally ready..meanwhile he was sitting someone eating a jimmy johns sandwhich we saw him get delivered. I understand he needs lunch, but after waiting for so long I did not appreciate waiting 20 minutes more for him to finish his lunch. As he brings us to finance he says how he was going to go clean up the car and fill it with gas for us. When I finally get in the car the gas tank is completely empty...I go back in and ask to have it filled, and half hour later they fill up the tank with half a tank. Once again, he lied, I take "fill up" to mean a whole tank. I would have not waited another half hour for just a half tank. Then he hands us 1 key. We were never told there would only be 1 key and there is no reason why they couldn't make another. My dad called the dealership when I got home to discuss this since he had overheard another customer complain about the same problem in which she was told she would get 2 keys. The person on the phone, Anthony Micelli, apologized and said of course we should get a 2nd key and to come back and talk to him. We go back 1 week later, and apparently Anothony Micelli no longer works there. My dad calls again, and explains what a horrible experience we had and the persons response was "So What"!!!! So disrespectful, and they are not giving us a 2nd key. Now lets get started with the finance guy. After he tried to get me to buy more ridiculous warranties and after politely saying no thanks he would not stop bringing it up. He asked if I wanted to just hear the price, I again said no, and his response was "well I am going to tell you anyway". He spelled my husbands name wrong on the vehicle registration and his response was that it was too inconvenient for him to change and that we would have to figure it out ourselves another day... After I got home I examined my bill more closely and noticed I was charged $450 more for the car than the price listed and agreed upon. I then notice a $450 rebate at the bottom, which I am assuming makes up for it, however we were taxed on that $450 and none of this was explained to us when we asked.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Biggest Bluffers and playing games...

I visited 3 times and deal was made for SUV with all features.. But I did wanted to take delivery on an auspicious day so I asked them I will take the delivery after 3 days. When I went into take the delivery they were trying to give me Base model. I did argue and tried to make them understand but the manager and the rep told me we never told you about the SUV model with all features.. I took day off from my work and I had to take a rental from indiana as I work there at Fort Wayne. I did loose my half day pay, loose rental money and also asked my wife to stay home as she works in evening.. So all to gather we lost almost $700 which got wasted.. Rep also turned down his words and lied. I am highly disappointed and never recommend anyone to even visit this Dealer. A Big NO... Never Ever go this Dealer and waste your precious time money and get fooled !

Great service. Helpful sales staff

I purchased a car from them in 2002 and again in 2017. In both cases, Schaumburg Nissan was excellent. Phil Panzarella asked what we were looking for and directed us to the cars that fit our needs. We were able to pick out a car, test drive it and start the purchasing process in about 45 minutes. Phil was nice enough to set up the bluetooth and walk my daughter through the functions on the car. Shoutout to Anthony Miceli and Paul Ketz who were also very helpful. The finance guy was great to but I don't have a card with his name, unfortunately. Easily 5 stars!!!!

Another great Car Buy

Seven (7) Nissans over the years says it all! and from the same dealership. I am a Nissan fan and proud of it. Just look around and see the number of Nissans being driven. Woodfield Nissan is the best dealership around. From cleanliness, appearance and salesmanship it is hard to beat.
