The Kia dealership in Yonkers was such a great experience. Lindi Dacaj spent 4 hours with me to ensure that I got exactly what I wanted at a price that I felt comfortable. So when I called the dealership inquiring for a used car, I was transferred over to finance that's when I spoke to Kk. She was very knowledgeable on how I should be proceeding forward in financing a used car after my lease was up in two months. I live very far, in Long Island, so going over there would have been a hassle. I asked her if she could look into it. I gave her all my information and she told me she will get back to me in a few hours. She called me back after 20mins and discussed all the options with me and I was totally satisfied. I went in when I was read and she had everything ready. I spent less than an hour and was out in my new car. Completely satisfied with my purchase. I Will recommend this dealership to my friends and family. Thanks for being upfront and honest on financing a car. I am more than a satisfied customer.

I was tricked and scammed

I went to this dealership to buy a used car, first I was told that I couldn’t pick a car because of my credit they had to pick it for me, so first they offered me a Nissan Altima 2014, I didn’t want it then they offered me a Sentra White 2014, which I had to put a deposit on, I get to the dealership and they tell me this blue centra is my car, I was happy, couldn’t sign contract on paper but on the computer because their printer didn’t work, so I couldn’t read I just clicked, they gave me the blue Sentra and I went home when I got home I realized the vin number on the car did not match the one they insisted I put insurance on, I right away contact the woman Kay Kay, who told me to try n go back as soon as possible to fix this problem, well my daughter had gotten burned on Sunday ( 3rd degree burns) I had a appointment Tuesday for her and I live 2 hours away from the dealership, well Kay Kay said wendsday would be fine at 2 pm , then a hour later I got told I had to bring the car or I can be arrested because I don’t own the vehicle, so I had to cancel my daughter appointment to bring the car I was mislead that I bought, I get to the dealership n they tell me I can’t keep the blue car because I need 3000$ more down which I didn’t have and tell me I signed for a 2013 car !!! Now I’m pissed , but I take the car I signed for , 10 min driving the car starts to coke like the transmission is slipping, I get the car home go to bed wake up to do errands with my daughter and the inside plastic is falling off, car keeps slipping n now I’m flipping, I called the

Bad service on Kia

Sitting there waiting for a recall listening to many come in complaining that have to keep coming in for repairs that are not corrected and 2 and 3 times. Should of been a warning sign. bought my 2012 Kia Soul to the dealer for a recall - undercarriage rust coating While ther I asked them to check my locks don’t open with key and to open manually. After getting recall done and paying 40.00 to diagnose issue I went to car and found my radio was completely dead. They took it back in said would take 2 hours. I went for walk and came to after an hour to find my car in the street. They never called to say anything. I went in to see what the issue was and said there was nothing they could it was a coincidence that my radio must of broken down. They said there was connection from the radio to the fuse. I said I was going to file a complaint with Kia customer service and said fine maybe they would Goodwill me a radio. How rude. Whatever they did caused this issue not a coincidence I have been posting all day on all the sites and all don’t by there story.

A Beautiful Whirlwind Experience- New Kia Soul GT 2020

For those of you who only like reading the first line and want to get back to your instagram- I had the BEST experience at Yonkers Kia, ask for Miguel (who's photo I can't find on here, as he's come from another store) and Emily Cummings, they are a dynamic duo who worked as a team to help me get my new Kia Soul GT 2020 for what seemed like a ridiculously great price, while making me feel valued and important. For those of you have a greater attention span and prefer a better story, read on. I had been driving a crappy old Ford Focus 2004 for the last year (was getting set up in New York and needed something to get me around) and I was really in the market for a used Compact/Sub Compact SUV, and Elexes Rodriquez had seen an online enquiry about trading in my old Ford and called me up saying they would take it and they had a used 2016 Honda CRV (a make I was interested in) and would I like to come in and look at it. We got chatting, and I let her know the kind of things I was looking for, and she brought up KIA and the types of models they had that were comparable. I had NEVER thought of buying a KIA, and would never have considered it if it weren't for this first conversation with Elexes. She sounded trustworthy and kind and patient. I then got talking to some work buddies, one of which had a Kia Soul that he had put on 300,000 miles driving from Florida to New York and back constantly for years- he said he loved it and had no problems at all. So call it fate, but my awesome call with Elexes and speaking to my friends convinced me to go and have a look at some Kia's. When i arrived Elexes greeted me and introduced me to Miguel- THE MAN! I was up front and told him I wasn't really looking to buy for another 4 weeks or so and was checking out the market, and he was super relaxed about that and not pushy at all. He showed me their cert-pre owned stock, but also wanted to let men now about the awesome Kia Summer Cash Back deals they had on newer models. I walked past a Soul 2020 GT Line on the show room floor and jokingly said, that's probably out of my price range. He punched the numbers and the deal he managed to put together for me was going to be cheaper than a 2016 Honda CRV with 35,000 miles on it, but a new car with Kia's fantastic 10 year, 100,000 mile power train warranty. He took the time to do a mock sale for me, printing out a sheet of the trade in value of my s***box Ford (I knew i was going to get peanuts for it), with all the taxes, rebates, DMV charges etc. etc. so I could see EXACTLY what I was paying. He then worked out based on my down payment what my estimated finance costs would be as well. I left with a wealth of knowledge thanks to his patience. I went to many other dealers that day, but my mind kept coming back to the Red GT Soul and the price. I knew that the price may go back up as August was starting and the rebates might stop. I called him a week later, the car was still there and told him I wanted to come for a test drive. My work schedule is crazy right now, so I had to come in on the ONE DAY he wasn't there. But No Problem. He spoke to his manager, and they guaranteed the same price he quoted a week before, and from home on his day off (gave me his cell for Personal Service, amazing) he put me in touch with his old Pal Emily and organized with her to set up the car for a test drive and that she would take care of me- NOT ONCE DID HE TRY PERSUADE ME TO COME IN LATER WHEN HE WAS THERE SO HE COULD MAKE THE SALE HIMSELF. I came 25 minutes later and Emily Cummings had the car on the curb ready to test drive. This girl is one bad xxx xxxx! Super professional, running around the dealership managing everyone and never stopped hustling for all the hours I was there. She took me on her fav test drive route with hills, and curves, it was a blast (although I drive like an old blind Grandma). We then sat down, and they honored exactly the awesome deal quote sheet and even a few hundred bucks better than the print out i and gotten a week before. She even called my insurance company on my behalf to help me up my insurance needed to finance the new car. When I realized just how much I was going to pay extra on insurance, I nearly called the deal quite right then and there. She encouraged me call my wife, talk it out, and kept me calm and focused. After weighing the pros and cons I decided to go ahead- the deal was too good to be true- way below any other dealer I had spoken to or found online for this model of car. They got the paperwork finalized while I drove home and picked up the downpayment and my wife to come for the final signing. I kept leaving things in my old Ford and the other staff (another Miguel) were very helpful having to constantly run back and find my garage door opener and useless crap I had left in the car. They did it with a smile but I am sure they wanted to kill me. The Finance manager was professional, didn't try to hustle me to add extra protections, and was lovely to me and my wife. So basically you can see from my initial phone conversation, through my first meeting with Miguel, and then through Emily and the other staff, that it was like going on a smooth journey from start to finish where trust was established and their was a consistency in approach that left me feeling at ease with a new financial burden- that is how you want to feel. 24 hours later, I don't have any buyers remorse, which usually I do! I have heard their service department was pretty crappy, and I quizzed Emily on this, and she promised me they had gotten a lot better, with new staff and management, and I'm writing this down here publicly to hold Yonkers Kia to that! I am definitely willing to give their service department a try if god forbid anything goes wrong. But hopefully except for an oil change here and there I won't have to do much at all. I'll most likely just pop back into the show room to thank them again and again for my new car. I can't speak for anyone else obviously, but based on my experience from start to finish I could not have been happier and left feeling more confident in my new vehicle purchase. Thankyou Emily, Miguel, Elexes, and the other young porter Miguel with all the hair gel in his hair (shinier than my new Red GT Soul). Happy Purchasing!

Great Experience

I've been in the market for a car the past few months. Not fun. I've been to two Nissan dealers, Honda dealer and I was in contact with a broker. To say the least this was a very frustrating and annoying process. I needed the car to be in a specific price range. No dealer was able to work with me until Kia of Yonkers. I went to Kia today at approximately 9:45am. I was greeted promptly. They had Spanish music in the background. Which made it a fun and friendly dealership. Emily took care of all my needs. She was honest, transparent, and patient. I was quite paranoid from all the readings I've done about people and their bad experiences. Also, from my own personal bad experience at Nissan of Yonkers. Emily answered all my questions and remained patient with my redundancy and paranoia. She wasn't about games and understood money doesn't grow on trees. I didn't feel rushed nor pressured, even though they played a hard bargain. The test drive was great, we did many turns, we hit some bumps, and I followed none of the directions Emily gave me. The turns helped to see how well the car can handle and yes bumps were felt but nothing exaggerated. We returned and spoke pricing, I scheduled to return at 3pm. Which scared me because I didn't want pricing to change or any discrepancies of you "misunderstood". Luckily for me Kia of Yonkers kept there word. Emily wrote everything in detailed and signed her name. She gave me her number and we kept in contact, she reassured me of no hidden fees, exactly what was covered in the upfront taxes and fees, etc. At 3pm I returned signed paperwork and my car was ready. My first vehicle how exciting! Also, I forgot to mention Matt the finance guy. He to was professional and transparent. He explained what I was signing and ensured all the numbers were correct.
